Community Partnership Program 

Cadia prides itself on its expansive community support programs. Each year, we provide financial and in-kind support to enhance community groups and organisations in the Blayney, Cabonne and Orange Local Government Areas (LGA's).

Our Community Partnership Program offers two funding opportunities – Cadia Cares and the Cadia Legacy Fund.

Applications are considered through a Community Partnership Program committee, which comprises 10 volunteer representatives from all departments across the operation.

Cadia Cares

Cadia Cares provides support to community groups within Blayney, Cabonne and Orange LGA’s to offset the current impacts of Cadia’s activities and support the economic development of the community.  Minor funding of up to $5,000 is available for short-term projects, while funding of up to $20,000 is available for projects which can demonstrate long-term benefit to the community.

The Cadia Legacy Fund

The Cadia Legacy Fund works in partnership with community representatives to develop and deliver strategic projects which will leave a legacy on the local region (within Blayney, Cabonne or Orange LGA’s) while Cadia continues to operate, and as it reaches mine closure.  Funding applications of a minimum of $20,000 will be considered through the Cadia Legacy Fund.  Projects must demonstrate strategic alignment with government or key stakeholder plans.

Cadia Legacy Fund Expression of Interest

Follow these steps to submit an expression of interest.

This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for the Cadia Legacy Fund, it is not an application form. Please ensure you have read the Cadia Legacy Fund Guidelines prior to submitting the EOI.

Once the EOI is completed, a member of the Cadia Social Performance team will contact you to discuss your project’s eligibility for the Cadia Legacy Fund and to provide you with additional information on how to submit an application form.

Cadia Cares applications are considered every two months. To be considered at the next meeting,  applications should be completed by Monday 1 May 2023.

 The Cadia Legacy Fund meets two times per year. Applications have now closed for the financial year 2023.
