Cadia prides itself on its expansive community support programs. Each year, we provide financial and in-kind support to enhance community groups and organisations in the Blayney, Cabonne and Orange Local Government Areas (LGA's).
Our Community Partnership Program offers two funding opportunities – Cadia Cares and the Cadia Legacy Fund.
Applications are considered through a Community Partnership Program committee, which comprises 10 volunteer representatives from all departments across the operation.
Cadia Cares provides support to community groups within Blayney, Cabonne and Orange LGA’s to offset the current impacts of Cadia’s activities and support the economic development of the community. Minor funding of up to $5,000 is available for short-term projects, while funding of up to $20,000 is available for projects which can demonstrate long-term benefit to the community.
Please read the Cadia Cares Guidelines to check your eligibility.
The Cadia Legacy Fund works in partnership with community representatives to develop and deliver strategic projects which will leave a legacy on the local region (within Blayney, Cabonne or Orange LGA’s) while Cadia continues to operate, and as it reaches mine closure. Funding applications of a minimum of $20,000 will be considered through the Cadia Legacy Fund. Projects must demonstrate strategic alignment with government or key stakeholder plans.
Please read the Cadia Legacy Fund Guidelines to check your eligibility.
Applications for Cadia Cares are now open.
Cadia Cares applications are reviewed every two months. To be reviewed at the next meeting, applications need to be submitted by Tuesday 5 November 2024. Please click on the Cadia Cares button below to start your application.
Cadia Legacy Fund applications will be reviewed twice per financial year. Applicants can submit an Expression of Interest for the Cadia Legacy Fund via the link below. Testimonial – Donation to Ngurang-gu Yalbilinga Program.
“The gym equipment has not only enhanced the program, it has also enhanced the boys quality of life through exercise and their perceptions on the importance of healthy choices and a healthy lifestyle. It’s support such as Cadia’s that allows the Ngurang-gu Yalbilinya Program to provide lifechanging opportunities for these young Aboriginal men. The generosity of Cadia will go a long way to ensuring the continued success for our community-based Programs.”
Ngurang-gu Yalbilinya Student Support Officer, Mark Polley
